night. Overnight lows ranged from the low 30s to the middle 40s
across the Sunflower state, with the coldest temperatures over north central Kansas, where
a freeze warning was in effect. Winds were light and variable
overnight.

Today looks to be dry with mostly clear skies. Afternoon high
temperatures are forecast to reach the middle 60s to the lower 70s
across the Central Plains. Winds will be mainly out of the north at
5 to 15 mph, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph.

Tonight looks to stay mainly quiet with mostly clear skies
dominating the Central Plains. An area of showers and storms may
affect southwest Kansas and the Panhandle of Oklahoma. Overnight
low temperatures are forecast to drop down to the upper 30s across
north central Nebraska, to the low 50s across southwest Kansas.
Winds will be light and prevail overnight.
